Willie Mosley

Mr. Willie C. Mosley, Jr., was born on June 21, 1950, to the Willie C. Mosley, Sr. and Nancy Lee Jackson in Talladega, Alabama. Willie accepted Christ at a young age and united with Kelly Springs Missionary Baptist Church. He received his formal education in the Talladega County School System and was a graduate of Ophelia S. High School Class of 1969 where he played football and baseball. After completing high school Willie furthered his education by attending Nunnelly Technical College where he received a skilled trade in automotive. He later joined the workforce working several jobs including Bemiston, Crown Textiles, and Image Yarns before he decided to utilize his automotive skills and do what he loved best which was rebuilding hot rod cars. His life was all about his love for hot rod cars. Throughout Willie's life journey, he became known as "Willie C." and "Killer" to many of his family and friends. He loved entertaining his family, friends, or anyone who would engage with him in a good game of cards or dominoes. He definitely thought he was a professional card player. Before his health began to fail, on a nice and sunny day, you could catch him riding through the city on his favorite toy, his motorcycle. Willie loved his family and his family loved him and he will be missed immensely by all the hearts he have touched and lives he have encountered. On Saturday, January 27, 2024 Willie C. Mosley peacefully transitioned from this 73-year walk of life to his eternal home joining his father, Willie C. Mosley, Sr. and mother, Ida Mae Mosley. Leaving behind to cherish his memories are his three daughters, Evette Mosley, Cenetta (De'Shawn) Twyman, and Erica Story; son, Terrence (Arronda) Mosley; mother, Nancy Lee Jackson; two brothers, Charles (Janet) Mosley and Rodney (Cheryl) Mosley; sister, Cathy (James) Curry; nine grandchildren, Demetrius Mosley, Demarion Mosley, Demiele Lindsey, Bruce Lindsey, Arterrius Mosley, A'Carlei Kelley, RyShawn Chatman, RyTavious (Holley) Chatman, and Donterrio (Alexis) Story; seven great-grandchildren, Luka Story, Demi Rose Mosley, Phoenix Noelle Mosley, Janae Simone Mosley, Kia Mosley, Rylei Olivia Chatman, and Ryael Chatman; four aunts, Annie Pearl Garrett, Edna Mae Edison, Virginia Turner, and Shirley Jones; uncle, Clifford Mosley; and a host of other relatives and friends.
