Willie Hubbard

Mr. Willie Hubbard was presented to this world on March 28, 1953, in Anniston, Alabama by his parents, Willie and Inez Hubbard. He received his education in the Calhoun County School System and attended Wellborn High School. Willie also attended Duke's Adult Training School in Wellington, Alabama for 40 years, where he received job training for numerous skills. Willie, a true social butterfly, never met a stranger and had a gift for striking up conversations with anyone he encountered. Willie had a curious mind and always asked questions, eager to learn and connect with others. He had a genuine love for every holiday and cherished moments spent with family and friends during these festive times. His love for his nieces and nephews was immeasurable, and his presence brought joy to all those around him. A devoted protector, Willie's caring nature extended beyond his family to his neighbors, always ensuring everyone felt safe and looked after. He would even take the time to hand deliver their mail. In his leisure time, Willie could often be found watching soap operas, "The Price Is Right," and "Family Feud." He was fascinated with the "Friday the 13th" series. He would watch it year-round. Willie had a passion for playing cards and shooting pool, often engaging in friendly games with his loved ones. As a dedicated fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide, he always cheered on his favorite team with enthusiasm. On Sunday, November 3, 2024, Willie's journey on earth came to a peaceful close and he entered eternal rest in the comfort of his home, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and laughter He was preceded in death by his parents Willie and Inez Hubbard, his brother Charles E. Hubbard, and his nephew, Carlos Hubbard. Willie's loving memories will forever be cherished by his sisters, Ethel Hubbard and Glenda Jenkins; nieces, Tanisha (Tim) Rudolph, Chelsea Hubbard, Tiara Hubbard, Ciara, Hubbard, Clarissa Harris, Nicole Jenkins, and Ladreika Hubbard and a host of great-nieces, great nephews, other family members and friends Your presence will be deeply missed, but your legacy of joy and companionship will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew you. Willie will be remembered for his compassionate spirit, inquisitive mind, and unwavering love for those around him. His presence in the community will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love and friendship will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
