Tracey Ann Levitt

Born on April 2, 1978, in Atlanta, Georgia, Tracey Ann Levitt was the proud daughter of Willie Levitt and Geneve Cochran Levitt. Raised in the loving embrace of her family, Tracey flourished in Birmingham, where she completed her education at Woodlawn High School. Known for her vibrant spirit and caring heart, she devoted her life to nurturing those around her, particularly during her many years as a dedicated server in the restaurant industry. Her enthusiasm for life extended to her passion for Alabama Crimson Tide Football, reflecting her exuberant personality and loyalty to her roots. As time winds its course, we look ahead to a future where Tracey's spirit transcends this earthly realm, as she embarks on her journey towards eternal peace. Tracey Ann Levitt, a cherished daughter, devoted mother, beloved sister, adoring grandmother, and a steadfast friend gracefully departed this world on April 23, 2025, in Birmingham, Alabama, at the age of 47. In the tapestry of memories that remain, Tracey leaves behind a legacy woven with love, laughter, and firm familial ties. Her presence, love, and strength will forever resonate in the hearts of her three loving children: daughter, Kiara (Jaquez) President and sons Jerome (Jaliscia Durr) Holder, Jr. and Brandon Levitt. She was also an adoring grandmother, reveling in the joy brought to her life by her two grandsons, Ja'Von Holder and Jay'Ceon Holder, who were her pride and delight. In addition to her immediate family, Tracey is survived by her devoted sister, Jenny (Austin) Sharpe, as well as her loving parents, Geneve and Willie Levitt. She was a guiding light for a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will forever cherish the memories created with her. Her kindness, resilience, and the depth of her maternal love will resonate in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. As we reflect upon the beautiful moments, powerful love, and cherished memories shared with Tracey, we find comfort in the lasting impact she made in our lives. Her gentle spirit, remarkable strength, and profound love will continue to inspire and guide us.
