Lynn Wallace

Lynn Lavel Fears-Wallace was born on September 22, 1969, in Talladega, to her proud parents Linda Jean Fears and Johnny "Gabe" Clark. Lynn received her formal education in the Talladega City School system, where she attended Talladega High School. After completing her education, she embarked on her professional journey and dedicated over 20 years of her life to New South Express, where she worked as a forklift operator in the manufacturing industry. Lynn's commitment and hard work made her a valued member of the company. Known for her infectiously positive outlook on life, Lynn was a shining light in the lives of others. Her caring nature and willingness to help made her a beloved figure in her community. With her bright smile, she brought joy to those around her. In her free time, Lynn enjoyed dancing, watching TV, reading, shopping, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle through her food choices. Lynn Lavel Fears-Wallace, a loving and vibrant soul, passed away on January 2, 2024, while in the care of Brookwood Citizen's Baptist Medical Center in Talladega, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents, Linda Fears and Johnny Clark, along with her grandparents, Mae Etta Fears, Felton Fears, and Vida Mae Clark, aunts, Geraldine Flenory and Gussie Flenory, and her nephew, Master Char'Davian Fears. Their loss leaves a void in the hearts of Lynn's loved ones. She is survived by her husband of nearly 33 years, Victor Wallace; brother, Cornelius (Erica) Fears of Chattanooga, TN; sisters, Kimberly Fears of Talladega, AL and Regina Franklin of Mobile, AL. Lynn is also survived by her aunts, Lavetta Pointer of Talladega, AL and Barbara Flenory of Milwaukee, WI; nieces, Cariah Fears, Cortika Tanner, Ciera Tanner,all of Talladega, AL, and Tanasia Fears Malone of Chattanooga, TN, Brianna Garrett of Semmes, AL, and Keristen Franklin of Mobile, AL; nephews, Corey Slaughter, Jr. and La'Darious Slaughter, both of Chattanooga, TN, who will always hold on to cherished memories of their beloved aunt. Lynn's passing also leaves behind eighteen great-nieces and nephews, along with a multitude of other relatives and friends, all of whom will miss her dearly. Lynn will forever be remembered for her radiant spirit and kind heart, touching the lives of many with her love and generosity. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Rest in peace, Lynn, as your memory lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved you.
