Jeffreon Keith

Jeffreon Quejuantay "Nuke" Keith whose loving nature endeared him to all, was a handsome baby boy born on March 18, 1985 to the parents Jeffery Simmons and Mary Keith Sanders in Talladega, Alabama. Jeffreon was a vibrant spirit whose laughter and warmth illuminated the lives of everyone he met. He embraced Christ while uniting with St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church, an anchor for his faith throughout his life. A proud graduate of Clover Park High School in Washington in 2004, Jeffreon was not only a dedicated student but also an athlete who showcased his talents on the basketball court and the football field. His military family background afforded him the opportunity to travel and experience life across various states. However, it was in Alabama that he built a life and a career in maintenance within the industrial sector. Known affectionately as "Nuke," Jeffreon was a son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend wrapped in love and kindness. His humility and easygoing demeanor made him approachable, and those fortunate enough to know him could talk to him about anything. With an infectious smile and a captivating sense of humor, he had the remarkable ability to light up any room he entered. Jeffreon loved his family fiercely and cherished every moment spent with them, including recently witnessing his daughter's graduation in Seattle-a memory that will forever bring smiles to those who shared it and catching a few of the Washington Wolfpack games where his brother "JR" is the coach. Though his life seemed brief to many, those touched by Jeffreon understood that his impact surpassed the years he graced this earth. His legacy lives on, forever etched in our hearts, as he indulges in eternal play, creating joy amidst the clouds with his beloved grandparents, Olden and Hattie Mae Keith and Evelyn Moon Simmons and Percy Garrett. Jeffreon not only made an impact on so many, but he left an impression of a lifetime with all his loved ones, and although his memories will live forever, he was still taken home far too soon. We all know Jeffreon is cracking jokes and trying to rap his way through those pearly gates while playing every sport imaginable on those blissful clouds and screaming "ROLL TIDE"! On July 5, 2025, due to a senseless act of violence, our beloved Jeffreon Quejuantay "Nuke" Keith transitioned from this earthly realm to his eternal home. Jeffreon's life would seem too short to many, but to those who were blessed to be touched by him understand that his existence and the imprint he left on our hearts far exceeds the quantity of time that he stayed here. He is now reunited with his loving grandparents, Olden and Hattie Mae Keith, Evelyn Moon Simmons, and Lloyd Sanders. Jeffreon leaves behind a treasure trove of memories, cherished by his devoted parents, Mary (Daniel) Sanders and Jeffery (Cynthia) Simmons; daughters, Janieya M. Keith and Janyi Kimore Keith; bonus son, X'avier Marquise Ragland; brothers and sister, all of whom are undoubtedly impacted by his gentle spirit; brothers, Travette V.
