Jack Lauderdale

Mr. Jack Lauderdale, 61, was born on September 20, 1963, to the union of Addies Lauderdale and Louise Rhoden. Jack's life was marked by his steadfast faith and commitment to his family. From a young age, Jack accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior, a guiding light that accompanied him throughout his life. He received his education in the Calhoun County School System before proudly graduating from Anniston High School in the Class of 1981. Following his graduation, Jack made the bold decision to move to Denver, Colorado, where he flourished in his culinary career, dedicating over 30 years to serving as a chef in the healthcare industry. His culinary artistry not only delighted the taste buds of many but also provided nourishment and comfort to those in need. On Sunday, January 26, 2025, Mr. Jack Lauderdale, a devoted son, cherished brother, and talented chef, departed this life at the age of 61. He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Addies Lauderdale, stepfather, Mr. Quencie Morris, Sr., and brothers, William Lauderdale, Patrick Morris, Edward Lauderdale, Donald Lauderdale, and Quencie Morris, Jr. Loving memories of Jack will forever be remembered and cherished by his loving mother, Louise Rhoden Morris; two brothers, Kerry Morris of Birmingham, Alabama, and Anthony Morris of Anniston, Alabama; five sisters, Alice Joyce Lauderdale of Anniston, Alabama, Jackie (Robert) Davis of Munford, Alabama, Patti (Shedrick) Morris of Lincoln, Alabama, Quennita Gilbert of Atlanta, Georgia, and Alice (Pontius) Gay; special friend, Quinton Santiago; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. As we reflect upon Jack's life, let us celebrate his kindness, culinary talent, and his deep connections with family and friends. He will be remembered not only for his accomplishments but for the warmth and love he infused into every interaction and meal shared. As we prepare to say our final goodbyes, let us hold dear the affection Jack shared, the laughter he brought into our lives, and the many moments we are grateful to have shared with him. His legacy of love and service will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
