DonTrell Hickman

Master DonTrell Tariq Hickman entered this world on June 30, 2023, bringing immense joy and laughter to his family and everyone he encountered, with his infectious giggles and lively spirit. Born to Shaquandra Millender and Don Hickman, Jr. in Talladega, Alabama, DonTrell was adored by all who knew him. His time with us was fleeting, but the "375" days of memories he leaves behind will be cherished forever. Throughout his short but meaningful life, DonTrell found joy in chasing after his loved ones in his walker, a picture of happiness and innocence. His favorite treat, corn cheese, always brought a smile to his face. Though DonTrell's time on Earth was short, for "375 days" his spirit embodied love and innocence, uniting all those around him. His laughter and bright smile will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him. On July 10, 2024, the heavens welcomed Master DonTrell Tariq Hickman back, and he peacefully returned to the angels who gave him to us for a brief time. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Franklin Evans and aunt, Sujutoria Truss. DonTrell leaves behind a loving family - his devoted parents, Shanquandra Millender and Don Hickman, Jr.; brothers, Landon Millender and Vydre Millender; sisters, Zoey Millender, Tyreshia Hickman, Alexis Hickman, and Aliyah Hickman; his grandparents, Dianna Millender, Don Hickman, Sr. and Beverly Hickman; bonus grandfather, Jerry (Kristy) Duncan, Sr.; nephew, Kaycen Gilbert; Godmother, Angie (Bernard) Waites; aunts, Latiasha Millender, Tawana Millender, Dorice Millender, Alishla Millender, Sheletia (Mark) Shirel, Arriba Truss, and Yosheda (Melvin) Hickman; uncles, Kendarius Hickman, Marcus Millender, Jerry Duncan, Jr., and Michael Yancy; two great-aunts, Kimberly Millender and Henrietta Lawler; as well as four God sisters, his aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives. In celebration of his beautiful life and the joy he brought to all, we will now reflect on the cherished memories and the love that DonTrell shared with everyone he met. Through our grief, we find comfort in knowing that DonTrell is now at peace in the arms of the angels, forever watching over us with his bright smile and infectious laughter.
