Chanda Robinson

Chanda Russell Robinson, the beloved daughter of the late Anthony Russell and Suzanne Little Russell, graced this world with her lively spirit on September 9, 1984, in Anniston, Alabama. She accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age while attending St. Paul CME Church in Jacksonville, Alabama. In 2009, Chanda met her soulmate and the love her life, Albert Robinson. Together they created a life full of laughter, love and unforgettable memories. Their bond grew stronger over the years and was a testament to true love and partnership. On August 5, 2024, they were united in holy matrimony and continued to build a beautiful life together. With her vibrant soul, Chanda blossomed and lived her life with an infectious zeal and a love that touched everyone who knew her. She received her formal education in Calhoun County and was a proud member of the Jacksonville High School Class of 2002. She eventually found gainful employment at Bridgewater Interiors where her hard work and dedication set a shining example for all. Chanda's personality was as big as her love for life, and she was, undoubtedly, everybody's friend. Her warmth and laughter illuminated every room she entered. Whether dancing to her favorite old-school music or enjoying a day at the casino, Chanda embraced life with an infectious enthusiasm. She was the epitome of devotion and care, always putting others before herself and taking every opportunity to uplift and inspire them, especially her family. Chanda's creativity was often reflected in her thoughts and feelings that she poured into beautiful poems and stories written from her heart. Her presence will be missed, but her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends. On Saturday, June 7, 2025, Chanda, who left us too soon, completed her earthly assignment and entered eternal rest. She was preceded in death by her father, Anthony Russell and grandparents, Eugene Weathers, Gladys Weathers, and Winston "Sackman" Lanier. Chanda's spirit and love will forever echo in the hearts of her husband, Albert K. Robinson; children, Jaquan T. Smith, Jamichael D. Simmons, and Altera C. Robinson; grandchildren, Harmony Foster, Tristan White, and Blakely Smith; mother, Suzanne Russell; stepfather, Cecil R. Caldwell; brothers, David L. Little, Anthony J. Russell, and Dwayne Russell; nieces, Nya Mackenize Little and Jasmine Embry; nephew, Jelonte Green; special friends, LaKeyia Caver, Quamiria Walker, Diane Patillo, and Shamika Harris; special classmates, Markeeta Coleman, Latasha Johnson, Kimberly Thomas, and Jessica Spinks; and a host of aunts, uncles, other family members, and friends. As we reflect on Chanda's life, let us remember the joy she brought and the poetic verses she crafted. Though she may no longer walk among us, her spirit will continue to dance, laugh, and live on in all of us. We love you dearly Chanda and will carry you in our hearts forever.
