Mr. Amauri Q Royal

Amauri Q. Royal's earthly journey began when he was born to the union of Lattisha Royal and Marlon Walker in Anniston, Alabama on September 16, 1991. He received his formal education in the Anniston City School System and was a graduate of Anniston High School Class of 2010. Amauri continued his education by attending the Arts Institute of Atlanta for Culinary Arts. In April 2013, he enlisted in the US Army where he was a Culinary Food Service Specialist. Amauri also received training his Combat Life Savers CRS and Field San Team Cert CRS. He served in a designated imminent pay area, Iraq, and Kuwait which completed his first full term of service. Before receiving an honorable discharge, Amauri was the recipient of the Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and the Army Service Ribbon. Amauri loved the food industry so well that once he returned home from the military his dream was to open a food service trucking business called "Sound Bites" to express his love for music and cooking. Affectionately known as "Ski", Amauri loved jamming to old school music and singing, even though he could not sing a lick or carry a tune in a bucket. He enjoyed listening to Weezy F. Baby. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending quality time with them. Amauri's life revolved solely around food and listening to music. He had a loving and caring family who will miss him immensely. On Tuesday, October 4, 2022, Amauri was called to eternal rest while in the comfort of his home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Lucille Smith, great-grandfather, Malcolm Tarver, grandfather, Willie McLean, grandfather, Lloyd Walker, and niece, Mailah J. Royal. Amauri leaves to cherish his precious memories his beloved parents, Lattisha Royal and Marlon (Whitney) Walker; siblings, Quindarious (Jazzmon Murray) Royal and Quinton Royal both of Anniston, AL, Britney Walker, Demariun Walker, and Braylon Walker, all of Dallas TX, and Carlisha Motley of Birmingham, AL; grandparents, Elder Ethel Cylde Thomas, Gloria (Darrel) King; special aunts, Kameisha Choice, Toccara Johnson, and Kisha Dansby; special uncles, Charles Jones and Donta Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
