Tracy Dawn Curry Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Tracy Dawn Curry was the last child of seven born to George and Annie Hall Curry on June 22, 1973 in Talladega, Alabama. Tracy accepted Christ at an early age and united with Union Springs Baptist Church. He received his formal education in the Talladega County School System and was a graduate of Munford High School Class of 1993. Along Tracy's 49-year earthly journey, he met his soulmate, the former Shrail Tucker and they were later united in Holy Matrimony sharing over 23 years in marriage. Tracy was a hard-working husband and father of three, Damarco, Kieryn and Jahkeeyah. At the time of his passing, he worked in transportation as a trucker. He enjoyed fishing and found great joy working in the yard with his flowers and listening to music. His love for music was well demonstrated while he entertained many parties and events over the years as a "DJ". Tracy was an avid Alabama football fan and loved watching the Tide Roll every Saturday during football season. On Saturday, July 9, 2022, while under the care of Piedmont Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, Georgia, Tracy was called from labor to eternal rest joining his parents, George and Annie Hall Curry, brother, George E. Curry, grandparents, Mack and Mary W. Curry and William and Deliah McGhee Hall, nephew Steven B. Elston and mother in love, Mable Wicks. He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his loving wife of 23 years, Shrail Tucker Curry; his son, Damarco J. Truss-Curry of Oxford, Alabama; daughters, Kieryn Curry of Snellville, Georgia and Jahkeeyah Beamer of Fayette, Mississippi; brother, Jasper (Cynthia) Curry of Huntsville, Alabama.; sisters, Audrey (Lee) Swain. and Renee' (Eugene) Jacobs of Talladega, Alabama, Carolyn (Wayne) Williams of Leland, North Carolina and Glenda (Hughey) White of Decatur, Georgia; special sister, Cynthia (Herman) Smith Grayson, Georgia; sister-in-law, Bridget (Ernest) Havard of Spring, Texas; special grandmother-in-law, Katie Tucker of Fayette, Mississippi; eighteen nieces and nephews that were like sisters and brothers, and a host of great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
