Tevin Cordel Riggins

Tevin Cordel Riggins, known by his friends and family as No Caller ID and Country Boy, was born on October 8, 1992, in Anniston, Alabama, and lived a life filled with an unforgettable spirit. His laughter was loud, his smile was easy, and his happiness was contagious. A proud 2011 graduate of Alexandria High School, Tevin was a true athlete who played both football and basketball, forming lifelong friendships and memories during his school years. He had a natural talent for working with his hands. Whether he was fixing something, building something, or tending to a yard until it looked just right, Tevin put his whole heart into it. Working with his hands wasn't just a skill, it was his language. His craftsmanship and work ethic were matched only by his kindness. Children held a special place in Tevin's heart. As a little league coach, he poured patience, encouragement, and love into every child he mentored. He didn't just teach them how to play, he taught them how to believe in themselves. His players adored him, not just for his coaching, but for the way he made each of them feel important and capable. Born with a natural gift for connecting with people, Tevin was the kind of person who could walk into any room and instantly become its brightest spark and the life of the party. He was a true country soul at heart. Whether he was wearing his favorite cowboy hat and boots, spending time around horses, hanging with friends and family, or working, he was happiest just living the simple life he loved. He will forever be remembered for his larger-than-life personality, kind heart, and the joy he brought to everyone around him. On Sunday, May 24, 2026, just before dawn, Tevin "Country Boy" Riggins traveled to greener pastures. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jerome Jackson, Shirley Elston, and Sammie Elston, Sr. and great-grandparents, Michael Burks,Georgia A. Burks, and Annie R. Jackson; aunt, Doris Jackson; and uncle, Willie J. Jackson. Tevin leaves behind not only friends who will never forget his laughter, children who grew under his guidance, but a family who will carry his love forward. He is survived by his children, Mason Riggins, Luca Riggins, and Tatum Riggins; his loving mother, Commanetta (Gary) Bowers; his father, Keith Elston, Sr.; brothers, Eltoinne Lewis, Gary Bowers, Jr., Kerry Bowers, and Keith Elston, Jr.; sisters, LaDasia English and Adreana Elston; grandmother, Blessina Riggins; aunts, Vanessa Jenkins, Ashley (Andre) Elston, and Karren Burks; uncles, Eric "Toot" Burks, Sammie Elston, Jr., Charles Bowers, Jeff Bowers, Steve Bowers, and Gregory Kelly; his forever love, Shannon Terrell; and a host of other family members and friends. Tevin's boots may rest now, but the path he walked-full of love, laughter, and country‑boy pride-will continue to guide those who knew him. His spirit lives on in the memories he created, the lives he touched, and the love he shared so freely.
