Stanley Jackson

Mr. Stanley Jackson a beloved father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, began his earthly journey on January 7, 1965, in Talladega, Alabama when he was born to the union of Charles Jackson and Mittie Hunley Jackson. From an early age, Stanley accepted Christ, where his faith flourished throughout his life visiting various churches. He received his formal education within the Talladega City School system, where he attended Talladega High School. As a dedicated employee of AIDB, Stanley embodied the spirit of dedication and hard work, earning the respect of colleagues and friends alike. It was in the tapestry of life that he would become the father of two loving children, Natasha and Jaylen-something he cherish unconditionally. Stanley was a man of many passions, a devoted family man who reveled in the joy of togetherness. He cherished moments shared with loved ones while embracing the great outdoors entertaining friends especially when cooking his favorite dish, Pigfeet and Tripe; sometimes adding a little grilled or baked chicken to the menu. He thought he was the master chef. His heart beat in rhythm with the Alabama Crimson Tide, a testament to his firm loyalty as a lifelong fan. Stanley approached life with a zest that inspired those around him. On February 25, 2026, Mr. Stanley Jackson peacefully transitioned from this earthly home of labor to eternal rest, embraced by the grace of his Master while in the comfort of his home with his family at his side. He is welcomed into eternity by his father, Charles Jackson and brother, Reginald Jackson. Stanley's legacy endures through his beloved mother, Mittie Jackson; children, Natasha Garrett and Jaylen Jackson; siblings, Lawson (Sheila) Welch, Mary Ann (Richard) Harmon, Charles (Margaret) Jackson, Greg (Brenda) Jackson, Paula (Urban) Jackson, Pamela (Larry) Calhoun, Wayne (Rose) Jackson, and Lisa (Kenny) Swain; special friend, Darlene Kelly; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will carry his memory with love. As we gather to celebrate the life of Stanley, we invite all who knew and loved him to reflect upon the cherished moments shared-and to remember him not with sadness, but with joy and gratitude for the time we were privileged to share. His love and legacy will forever shine in our hearts.
