Randy Rogers

Born on February 19, 1964, in Memphis, Tennessee, Randy was cherished by family and friends alike. He was the beloved son of Harvey Rogers and Bossie Garner, who cultivated in him a spirit of kindness and generosity that touched everyone he encountered.Randy's faith journey began at a young age when he accepted Christ, becoming a devoted member of Macedonia Baptist Church-Hyde Park in his hometown. His life was a testament to his love for family, friends, and the joys of life. A true sports enthusiast, he held a special place in his heart for the Dallas Cowboys, while also finding great pleasure in golfing and immersing himself in music.His professional journey led him to Honda Manufacturing of Alabama, where he excelled as a Robot Programmer, contributing to the manufacturing industry with dedication until his retirement. Post-retirement, Randy ventured into entrepreneurship, passionately running R and R Laundromats, where his warmth and friendliness created a welcoming atmosphere for all who visited. Randy's legacy will live on through his loving wife, Rhonda Rogers, who was his steadfast partner in life. He is also survived by his cherished children, son Myles Rogers; daughters, Cameryn Rogers and Brianna (Donereco) Young; as well as his granddaughter, Shiloh Young. Randy's familial love extended to his siblings, including his brother, Harold (Daphne) Rogers, and sisters Myrtle (James) Walker, Marcia Garner, Sheila Rogers, and Onie Triplett, each of whom will forever hold him dear in their hearts. On October 27, 2025, at the age of 61, Mr. Randy Odell Rogers peacefully entered the heavenly realm after accepting the Master's call while in the care of UAB hospital in Birmingham, Alabama with his beloved family at his side. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey Rogers and Bossie Garner, and brother, Reginald "Ricky" Garner. In our mourning, let us reflect on the joyous memories, the laughter, and the love he imparted during his time on this earth. Randy Rogers was a friend to many, a loving husband and father, and a man who will be missed beyond measure. May his spirit continue to inspire all he touched, for he truly embodied the essence of friendship, love, and joy. Rest in peace, dear Randy; your legacy will forever shine in our hearts.
