October 28, 1996 - March 18, 2022
O'Derius Tre'Quan Jemison 25-year earthly journey begin on October 28, 1996 when he was the only child born to the parentage of Teresa Jemison and Desi Spratling in Talladega County. Although O'Derius never united with any church, he knew the Lord and would attend Mt. Moriah Baptist Church with his mother from time to time. As a child O'Derius attended and received his formal education in the Talladega City School System and was a 2014 graduate of Talladega High School. O'Derius was very active in sports, playing football and basketball throughout his youth and adolescent years receiving many trophies, plaques, and certificates, which was something he loved and enjoyed. Although he was the recipient of several college opportunities, because of the love for his family, O'Derius chose to stay home to be close to his loving mother and grandmother while working various jobs. At the time of his passing, he was a dedicated productive employee of America's Automotive Industry at WKW as a parts inspector. He loved making anyone laugh with his contagious humor and that bright infectious smile he had that would lighten up any dark room he walked in. Known affectionately as "Tre" or "OD" by his family and friends, O'Derius loved enjoying life and wanted to make sure every minute counted. He was well known for the love he had for his family, his kind manners, and his energetic spirit. He would spend countless hours entertaining with family and friends. He found great joy and peace listening to music and helping others. In the early morning hour of Friday, March 18, 2022 at approximately 12:49 a.m. O'Derius traded his 25-year earthly journey for his eternal resting home leaving the troubles of this sinful, evil world behind and joining his heavenly family that was awaiting him: his brother, Antwoine Carter, and grandparents, Odessa Jemison and Harvey Miller, Jr. and Kenneth Walker. He leaves to cherish his memory; a loving, devoted and praying mother, Teresa (Coleman) Jemison; caring father, Desi (Faith) Spratling; grandmother, Cynthia Swain; brother, Joshua Spratling; two sisters, Angel Spratling and Miracle Spratling; a baby cousin whom he loved dearly, Miles Miller; aunts, LaShon Wallace, Angela Jemison, Joann (Winfred) Dorman, Brenda Miller, Sheika Spratling, Kannishia (Joshua) Jackson, Renae Groce, Shaquenna Curry, and Tykenya Curry; uncles, Travis Jemison, Rodney Jemison, Bruce Jemison, Lamont (Sharonda) Swain, Michael Miller, Kenneth (Jackie) Miller, Sr., Demetrius (Deneisha) Spratling, Michael Swain, and Kelvin (Carol) Walker; bonus uncle, George Williams; special great uncle, George (Janice) Jemison; aspecial great-aunt, Bonnie Sue Barclay; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends that loved O'derius to the ends of the earth and beyond. Your family and the whole community of Knoxville will never fail to forget your name; continue to make the angels smile as you turn a leaf of life with no pain. WE LOVE YOU "TRE"
