Ms. Martha Betty Reynolds

April 14, 1939 - December 23, 2021

Ms. Martha Betty Reynolds, 82, of Talladega, Alabama was born on April 14, 1939 to the late Walker Ira Reynolds and the late Everlena Chatman Reynolds. At an early age, Martha accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and united with Africa Missionary Baptist Church. She received her formal education in the Talladega County School System and attended Robert Russa Moton School. Martha enjoyed singing, cooking, cleaning and dancing, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends. She would often cry in silent while dealing with personal problems in life while smiling on the outside. She loved hard, but she did not want people to know she did not want people to know she loved them a lot. Her pushing you away was her way of giving very large hugs and kisses. Martha had a passion for taking care of and providing primary care for friends and loved ones when needed. "To know Martha was to love her". She will truly be missed by all the hearts she has touched. Martha's 82-year life journey was completed on December 23, 2021 when she answered her Master's call for eternal rest while under the care of Talladega Health and Rehab Center. Once gaining her heavenly wings, she was reunited with her parents, Walker and Everlena Reynolds, children, James Robert Reynolds, Larry Reynolds and Sybil Harmon, siblings, Ira Walker Reynolds, Hannah R. Stockdale and Lugenia Hailey and grandchildren, Diedra Wilson and Author Wilson. Martha's loving memories will be forever be remembered and cherished by her three sons, Stanley (Annette) Reynolds and Gary Reynolds of Talladega, AL and Roveliouse Reynolds of Tuscaloosa, AL; four daughters, Elaine Reynolds of Talladega, AL, Samantha Bradford of Douglasville, GA, Tabitha Reynolds of Huntsville, AL and Andrietta Reynolds of Camelton, GA; two sisters, Mary (Billy Joe) Duncan of Talladega, AL and Emma Lou (Bennie) Garrett of Buffalo, NY; and a host grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Martha will always be remembered for her love of others, her humor, her loyalty, and her kind heart she had.
