A Time To Be Born: Marshall Williams, Sr. began this walk of life on August 19,1958 in Columbus, Georgia to the parentage of the late Mr. John Williams, Sr. and the late Mrs. Marie Pettis Williams. A Time To Grow: Marshall completed his secular education at Hallie Turner High School in Opelika, Alabama. A Time To Serve: Marshall accepted Christ as his personal Savior at an early age and united with Pleasant Hill A.M.E. in Salem, Alabama. He later joined Mt. Cleveland Missionary Baptist Church of Talladega, AL. A Time To Work: Marshall was a veteran of the United States Army. As a long-distance truck driver, he retired from Tyson Foods, Inc. A Time to Play: Not only did he love entertaining his family and friends, but he also had a passion for traveling and Alabama football. Marshall could often be heard saying "Roll Tide!". A Time To Die: On the morning of July 11, 2022, while in the care of staff at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center in Anniston, Alabama, Marshall's earthly journey ended. Other than his parents, Marshall was preceded in death by his brothers Nathaniel Williams and Michael Williams, and a loving bonus mother, Rhodann Baker. A Time To Remember: Surviving his departure with cherished memories are a loving wife, Nanette Hall Williams of Lincoln, Alabama. Two children - Marshall "Tiger" Williams, Jr of Lincoln, Alabama and Jameka Lewis of Atlanta, Georgia. Brothers - John (Kathy) Williams, Jr. of Ft. Mitchell, Alabama; James E. Williams of Columbus, Georgia; Lorinza (Wisteria) Willams of Ft. Mitchell, Alabama. Sisters - May Bell Flowers of Phenix City, Alabama; Rosemary Williams of Columbus, Georgia and Adraine Royal-Graham of Atlanta, Georgia. Loving mother-in-law: Emma Hall of Lincoln, Alabama. Brothers-in-law: Marcus (Marci) Hall of Lincoln, Alabama; Stacy Hall of Lincoln, Alabama; Kerry Fomby of Talladega, Alabama. Sisters-in-law: Felice Woodard of Lincoln, Alabama; Dale (Clyde) Parker of Eastaboga, Alabama; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
