Keianna Jones

Born on April 2, 1998, in Talladega, Alabama, to Kenneth Jones and Sabrina Swain, Keianna's journey through life was one filled with love, joy, and an unwavering spirit that inspired all fortunate enough to know her. Keianna was a cherished member of the St. Campbell Missionary Baptist Church, where her heartfelt devotion to the Lord shone brightly. She completed her education in the Talladega County School System, graduating from Talladega County Central High School in 2016. Following her graduation, Keianna dedicated over nine years of her life to Honda Manufacturing of Alabama, working as an assembler. Her work ethic was a testament to her character-resilient, dedicated, and full of life. She was such a fun-loving person, and it was shown in the presence of her adorable daughter and family. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Keianna was known for her vivacious personality and her love for life. She found joy in the little things-whether it was pressing her luck at the slots, keeping in touch with friends on the phone, or indulging in a day of pampering with her hair and nails. Known for her infectious laughter and warm smile, KeeKee embraced every moment with her adorable daughter, Kenslee Noelle "K-POP" Embry, and her beloved family. Those who loved her describe Keianna as the very essence of kindness-a shining light in every gathering. Her cousin Lakelsy beautifully captured her spirit, noting that knowing Keianna was the most kindhearted person you could ever meet and to know her was to love her. She was literally known as the life of every party. The love KeeKee showed to her friends and family was unquestionable. Others, like Cousin Charlie Calhoun, spoke of her protective nature and remarkable ability to uplift those around her, serving as a steadfast guardian and a balm for weary souls. He stated KeeKee was one of a kind, the brick to the foundation and if your light was dim and you had a little hope for life, she had a smile and sense of humor that could brighten the road. If love was a person, KeeKee was definitely a prime example. She would give you the shirt off her back even if it meant her going without. She played the same role as a spine; it was no falling down with her. KeeKee had a healing soul that could charge my heart and mind when I am running low. She was faithful, very respectful, and loyal and she would risk it all for anyone she loved. On Sunday evening, September 28, 2025, surrounded by the peace of her home, Keianna transitioned to her heavenly abode, reuniting with cherished family members who preceded her in death: her grandparents Mannie H. Swain, John Henry Jones, Albert D. Swain, and aunt, Chifon Jones. Keianna leaves an enduring legacy of unconditional love and cherished memories in the hearts of her beautiful and adorable daughter, Kenslee Noelle "K-POP" Embry; her parents, her brother Dondricus Swain, and nephew, Breydn M. Smoot. She is also survived by her grandmother Mannie Jones; aunts Christy McKenzie, Tammy Swain, Angela Swain, Kathy Armbrester, and Wendell Calhoun; uncles, John Swain and Harvey Swain; and a multitude of cousins, relatives, and friends who will miss her dearly. As we gather to remember Keianna, let us hold close the beautiful moments she gifted us. Let her spirit live on in acts of kindness, in the joy of family gatherings, and in the laughter shared among friends. Together, we will celebrate the light that was, and always will be, Keianna Brenae Jones.
