Dewayne Turner, Jr Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mr. Dewayne "DeDe" Turner, Jr., was born to the union of Dewayne and Wanda Jackson Turner in Talladega, Alabama on July 20, 1974. As a teenager, Dewayne attended and graduated from Munford High School in Munford, Alabama in 1992. Before graduation, he received a welding certificate from the Career Technical Program. Over his lifetime, Dewayne had various jobs, including: welder, road construction, cook, interior-exterior painter, heavy equipment operator and lawn care specialist. The one job that he treasured the most was being a family man. He loved his family dearly. On Thursday, May 26, 2022, Dewayne's earthly life ended. He was preceded in death by his father, Dewayne Turner, Sr.; his son, Dewayne Toddy Montrel Turner; brother, Jerome Lamar "Jeep" Turner; sister, Tina Revon "Reba" Turner Abel; grandfather, Leonard Jackson, Jr.; grandparents, Phillip and Arbie Turner; uncles, Lamar Jackson, Andrew Jackson, Paul Jackson and Isaac Bias; aunt, Phyllis Turner Perkins. Left to cherish Dewayne's precious memories are: his mother, Minister Wanda Jackson Turner of Munford, Alabama; grandmother, Mrs. Jonnie Etta Jackson of Munford, Alabama; daughters, Jasmine Keaunna Turner of Anniston, Alabama; K'jah Denai Turner of Sherwood, Arkansas; and Deomanie Desherica Turner of Pell City, Alabama; son, Specialist Damion Latrell (Louisee Duron) Turner of Fort Bragg, North Carolina; grandson, DaKari Marques Hamilton of Anniston, Alabama; brother, Reginal "Reggie" Turner of Anniston, Alabama; sister, Donna Latosha Saddler of Munford, Alabama; aunts, Teresa Jackson Collins of Talladega, Alabama; Sheila Jackson Bias & Mary Nell "Mug" Jackson of Munford, Alabama; Catherine R. Turner of Rome, Georgia; Helen Turner Matthews of Seattle, Washington; girlfriend, Sandra Brown of Decatur, Alabama; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who have become family.
