Ms. Brenda A. "Tint" Curry, 67, of Talladega, Alabama was born on June 15, 1954 to the union of Connie Curry and Fannie Barclay. Ms. Curry fellowshipped with Kidd Street United Methodist Church at an early age, which later became known as New Hope United Methodist Church. Brenda attended school in the Talladega County School System and was a 1973 graduate of Lincoln High School. Upon her completion of school, Brenda worked in the healthcare industry for many years as a nurse's aide. Brenda affectionately known as "Tint" was a fun-loving person who loved her children and her beautiful grandchildren, who were the joys of her life. Outside of working, Brenda enjoyed cooking, knitting, sewing, working in crossword puzzle books and most of all, spending time with her family. Brenda was a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be missed immensely by all the hearts she has touched while traveling on this journey of life. On Wednesday morning, February 9, 2022, while under the care of Brookwood Citizen's Baptist Medical Center in Talladega, Alabama, Brenda peacefully departed this walk of life as she transitioned to her eternal home joining hands with her parents, Connie Curry and Fannie Barclay, sister, Jewnerio Suttles, and three brothers, Frank Curry, Samuel Curry and Charles Wallace, Sr. Brenda's memories will be cherished by her two loving and devoted children, daughter, Joyce Curry of Anniston, Alabama; son Lewis "Shannon" Curry of Talladega, Alabama; two granddaughters, Markise Curry of Oxford, Alabama and Lela English of Anniston, Alabama; one grandson, JaCourtney Sims of Talladega, Alabama; one great-grandson, Mekhi Curry of Oxford, Alabama; one brother, John Pryor of Atlanta, Georgia; two sisters, Linder Keller of Vincent, Alabama and Patricia (Arthur) Lawler of Riverdale, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
