Audrey Lynne Stevenson

"A Life of Faith, Family, Strength, and Love" Audrey Lynne Stevenson was born on May 19, 1970, in Talladega, Alabama, to the union of Moses Stevenson, Sr. and Otha Nell Embry Stevenson. From the beginning, Audrey's life would become one filled with faith, family, friendship, determination, and countless memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. At an early age, Audrey accepted Christ while attending Triumph Ministry. As she continued along her Christian journey, her faith remained an important part of her life. In later years, she became a faithful member of Word of God Community Church, where she continued to grow in her relationship with the Lord. Audrey received her education through the Talladega City School System and proudly graduated from Talladega High School, Class of 1988. With a desire to further her education, she enrolled at New World College, where she earned her certificate as an Administrative Assistant. Throughout her working years, Audrey held various positions and established herself as a dependable and hardworking woman. For the last 13 years, she was a dedicated employee of Kasai North America - Talladega Plant. Her commitment, work ethic, and years of service allowed her to form many friendships and touch the lives of numerous coworkers along the way. Outside of work, Audrey knew how to enjoy life. One of her favorite pastimes was playing pool, and she was known as one of the best pool players around. Audrey was never afraid of a challenge-especially from the men who thought they could beat her. More often than not, Audrey would accept the challenge and walk away with the win, leaving behind plenty of laughter and a story worth telling. When football season arrived, there was little doubt about where Audrey's loyalty stood. She loved cheering for the Alabama Crimson Tide and looked forward to the excitement and tradition that came with each football season. Above all, Audrey treasured the people in her life. She possessed a presence that will not easily be forgotten. Through family gatherings, friendships, work, church, and everyday encounters, she touched many hearts and left memories that will continue to bring comfort, laughter, and love for years to come. On Sunday, September 6, 2026, while in the comfort of her home, Audrey Lynne Stevenson peacefully made her transition from this earthly realm to her eternal home. She was reunited with those who preceded her in death: her beloved parents, Moses Stevenson, Sr. and Otha Nell Stevenson; her brothers, Robert L. Stevenson and John M. Stevenson; her niece, Dominique C. Stevenson; and her great-nephew, Kylan Blaise Dorman. Audrey leaves a beautiful legacy of love and cherished memories with her two loving sons, Jonathan (Kristylyn) Stevenson and Emmanuel Stevenson; brothers, Moses (Angie) Stevenson and Phillip (Shirley) Stevenson; sister, Sadie (LD) Britt; grandchildren, Liam Stevenson, Asher Stevenson, and Conquer Stevenson; nephew, David (Tiny) Britt; niece, Shanara Stevenson; great-nephews, Jaden Jones and Logan Stevenson; great-nieces, Harlyn Dorman and Iyanna Stevenson; special friends, Tracie Scott, Rosa Jemison, Chris Johnson, and Brenda Ma' Morris; and a host of other relatives, coworkers, church family, and dear friends. Audrey will be deeply missed, but the love she gave, the laughter she shared, and the memories she created will remain forever. Though her earthly journey has ended, her influence lives on through her children, grandchildren, family, and every life she touched. Her family will remember her strength. Her friends will remember her laughter. Her coworkers will remember her dedication. Her fellow pool players will remember the challenge. And all who loved Audrey will remember a life that was uniquely and beautifully hers. Rest peacefully, Audrey. Your work on earth is complete, your memories are treasured, and your love will live on forever.
