Remembering the Life of Mrs. Tanasia Chantelle Bush-Humes A Time to Be Born Born on March 31, 1990, in Jasper, Texas, Tanasia Chantelle Bush-Humes was embrace with love and welcomed to this world by proud parents, Montrell Bush and Brenda Johnson. Later in life she was adopted by her loving and caring grandparents, Mr. John H. and Mrs. Johnnie L. Bush and became the apple of their eye. A Time to Grow Chantelle will always be remembered for her unwavering faith and dedication to Christ, a cornerstone of her life since her early years spent at the Greater Thankful Missionary Baptist Church under the guidance of Pastor P.Q. English. A graduate of Anniston High School, class of 2008. She was a member of "Gamma Roses" and later furthered her education at Gadsden Community College. A Time for Family and Work Chantelle's journey in this world was marked by her profound love for her family and unwavering commitment to her work in the medical and banking industry. She truly adored her children. Chantelle showcased her strength, love, and compassion in every aspect of her life. Her presence illuminated the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her, and her absence leaves a void that can never be filled. A Time to Die Tanasia "Chantelle" Bush-Humes was a beloved wife, mother, and cherished member of our family. Her untimely departure on February 17, 2024, has left a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Once Chantelle answered her Master's call to eternal rest, she made her grand entrance through those pearly gates, and was reunited with her parents, Montrell Bush and Brenda Johnson, grandparents, Mr. John H. and Mrs. Johnnie L. Bush, Richard Dean and Elouise Johnson; her brother whom she loved dearly, DeMario Hughley, uncles, aunts, cousins, and other relatives. A Time To Mourn Chantell leaves a legacy of love and fun memories to forever be cherished by her loving and caring husband Christopher F. Humes, two sons, LaDarrin Humes and Christopher Humes Jr.; daughters, Naleyah Gipson, Kennedy Humes, and Christyn Humes; sister, Kourtney Bush; bonus brother, Mekale Peters; aunts, Wanda Johnson of Austin, TX; Belinda Bush and Doris Johnson of Jasper, TX, Felicia Bush and Brenda Bush; uncles, Anthony Bush, Terino Bush, Dennis Christopher, Rickey McClellan, Dennis Johnson, Wendell Johnson, Donald Johnson, all of Jasper, TX; Richard Johnson and Tyrone Johnson of Detroit, Michigan; great-uncle, Luster Havard of Vicksburg, MS; sisters-in-law, Angela Hardge of Memphis, TN, Megan Humes, Nikita M. Polk, Toni Humes, and Tamatha Polk-Henderson, all of Vicksburg, MS, Michelle Mitchell of Houston, TX; mother-in-law, Eunice M. Polk of Vicksburg, MS; father-in-law, Laymon O. Humes, Jr. of Vicksburg, MS; special mother/aunt, Santa (Tony) Twymon and Gail Veal; sister-in-law, Rozetta Hughley; extended family to include Tony Demond, and the following families: Copeland's, Johnson's, Heard''s, Warfield's, Franklin's, Brown's, Moore's, Grave's, Gipson's, Mixon's, Thomas's and Sampson's; and a host nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will cherish her memory always.
