Serinity Nekhya Richmond

Serinity Richmond, the beautiful and beloved daughter of Chantel Croft and Eric Richmond, graced the world with her presence on March 21, 2003, in Anniston, Alabama, bringing joy and light to those around her. Serinity, affectionately called Renny, shared an unbreakable bond with her mother who was not only her parent, but also her best friend. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and united with Shady Grove Baptist Church. Renny graduated from Anniston High School as a proud member of the class of 2021. Her involvement in a variety of activities showcased her diverse talents and interests. She was a dedicated band member who played the flute and piccolo. Her interest was not limited to music. She was also a member of the Cologuard and cheerleading squad. Renny allowed her athletic abilities to shine while playing softball, a sport she not only played but enjoyed. Renny's ability to balance her academic responsibilities with her extracurricular activities was a testament to her "go-getter" attitude. After high school, Renny continued her education at Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama. She had a love for children and was gifted with the ability to connect with the younger generation. At Huntingdon, she carried forward her love for children by working toward a degree in pediatric nursing. In her spare time, Renny found time for her hobbies of dancing and skating. Dancing was not just a hobby for Renny, it was a way of expressing her enthusiasm for life. She was also an avid TikTok user. Renny's interests painted the picture of a young woman who embraced life with open arms. She was well-mannered and polite, traits that earned her the admiration and respect of her peers and elders. On July 25, 2024, adorned with wings of an angel, Serinity departed this walk of life and joined her grandparents, Samuel Sims, Martha L. Richmond, William E. Richmond, and Alfonza Wright. Memories of her life will forever be cherished by her mother, Chantel (Carlos Campbell) Croft; father, Eric Richmond; brothers, Quinterious Croft, Lumark Wilson, Jaquelle Richmond and Iniko Richmond; sisters, Dazjiah Cunningham and Erionna Richmond; step-sister, Temecha Campbell; grandmother, Frenisha Croft; great-grandmother, Glory Gary; aunts, DeShena Croft, Sandra Harwston, Eunice Parker, Valerie Patterson, Darlene Richmond, Carol Stevens, and Angela Richmond; uncles, Antionne Croft and Michael Richmond; other family members and friends. May her legacy of kindness, talent, and love be a reminder of the beauty she brought into the world.
