Patricia Adams

Patricia Ann Carr Adams was born on January 19, 1949, to the loving parents Willie Alice Gullatte Carr and Willie James Carr. Throughout her life, Patricia was a devout Christian, aligning herself with various churches and spreading her unwavering faith at a young age when she united with Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Later in life she continued serving the Lord and joined Macedonia Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Pastor Willie E. Parker. At the time of her passing, Patricia was an active member of Miracle Revival Temple, where she faithfully served on the mother board for the past 25 years under the guidance of Pastor Walter Carr. Having received her education in the Calhoun County School System and being a proud graduate of Cobb High School, Patricia dedicated her working years to roles in housekeeping and the dining facility at Fort McClellan. Mrs. Patricia Carr-Adams affectionately known as "Pat" was a fun-loving person and once you met her, you had a friend for life. Known for her warm smile and heartfelt greeting of "I'm Blessed and Highly Favored," Patricia touched countless lives with her kindness and faith. Her spirit remained unyielding, as she found solace in daily scripture readings and held tight to her favorite passages from Psalm 90 and 91. Hebrews 10:23- Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised) In her last days, Patricia never complained. "NOT MAN WILL, BUT GODS WILL". In her leaving your presence, she would always say "The Lords Willing, I will see you tomorrow". Patricia was a beloved mother to her children, whom she cherished deeply. She was also a devoted grandmother to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, with whom she shared many joyful moments. Patricia's kindness and warm spirit touched the lives of many, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. All who knew her knew she was blessed and highly favored! She was called to her eternal home on February 13, 2024 while under the compassionate care of Noland Hospital at Regional Medical Center in Anniston, Alabama. Patricia is now reunited with her parents, Willie James and Willie Alice Carr; grandparents, Cara Lee Carr and Jospeh Carr and Lena and Glenn Gullatte; brothers, Willie F. Carr and Charles Carr; and sisters, Cora M. Carr and Julia B. Carr. Patricia leaves a legacy of love and fun memories to forever be cherished by her two sons, Earl L. Carr and Toney L. (Shanice) Carr; two daughters, Shelia D. Carr and Tamela L. (Derrick) Carr; two brothers, Chester Lee (Tina) Carr and Timothy (Angela) Carr; three sisters, Lillie P. Williams, Denise D. Carr, and Ella S. Hopkins; a; thirteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. May we all find solace in the memories shared and the love that Patricia brought into our lives. She will forever be remembered for her kind heart and gentle spirit, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her. Rest in eternal peace, Patricia Ann Carr Adams.
