Michael Bedford, a man of unwavering dedication and unparalleled kindness was born on December 14, 1972, in the heart of Pell City, Alabama to Ms. Lula Bedford. As a youth, Michael accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior while attending Mt. Hilery Baptist Church in Cropwell, Alabama. He received his formal education in the St. Clair County School System where he attended Pell City High School. Michael was a remarkable individual who touched the lives of many. Throughout his life, he remained deeply rooted in his community, taking immense pride in his work a labor in the construction industry with the Labor Local union 559 in Birmingham, Alabama. His dedication and skills were highly regarded. His commitment to excellence and his unwavering work ethic were an inspiration to all those who knew him. Throughout his life, Michael stood as a pillar of strength and integrity within his community, garnering respect and admiration for his commitment to excellence and his unyielding work ethic. His passion for sports, particularly the Auburn Tigers football, illuminated his spirit, bringing joy to those around him as he cheered on his beloved team with infectious enthusiasm. Furthermore, his love for music and dancing to the rhythm of life showcased his vibrant and joyful personality. Affectionately known as "Fancy" by his family and friend, family was at the center of Michael's heart. Michael's devotion to his family, especially his beloved wife LeShan Armbrester Bedford, was unwavering and profound. His warmth, generosity, and genuine care extended not only to his family but to all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a beacon of light in the lives of many, spreading joy and laughter wherever he went. His love and support for them knew no bounds, and his memory will forever be etched in their hearts. Michael's kind spirit and warm demeanor made him a cherished friend to many. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, offering his assistance without hesitation. His generosity and genuine care for others were evident, and he had a unique ability to brighten any room with his infectious smile and laughter. He was known for his passion for cooking and unwavering devotion to his faithful canine companions, Molly and Crazy Horse. Michael Bedford, a beloved member of the Alpine community, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at the age of 51, while in the care of St. Vincent's Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Robinson, father-in-law, John Armbrester, and canine companions Apollo, Sally, Greta, and Cola. In this time of profound loss, we join together to celebrate the wonderful life of Michael Bedford. His passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all those who were fortunate enough to know him. Michael leaves behind a legacy woven with love and laughter to forever be remembered and cherished by his devoted wife of over 33 years, LeShan Bedford; two sons, Mikell (Sequoah) Armbrester and JaMichael (Renesia) Chapman; daughter, Taylor Bedford; bonus daughter, Breante (Quint) Armbrester; loving mother, Lula (Lenell) Keller; brothers, William (Pam) Bush, Marlon (April) Keller, Cameron (Shonta) Keller, and Jeffery Johnson; sisters, Grelier (Lee) Wilkerson, Shaniqua Johnson, and Angela Bedford; grandchildren, Brandon Armbrester, King Collins, Kyler Nettles, A'Niylah Chapman, Amora Chapman, and A'Kaiza Chapman; special aunt, Mary Gilbert; uncles, Jack Bedford and Stanley Bedford; aunts, Clara Threatt, Dorothy Bedford, Monica Wade, and Barbara Bedford; caring mother-in-law, Peggy Armbrester; with a wide circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
