Mary Miller

Born to Benjamin Moss and Mary Easley Moss, Mary Miller graced this world with her warm spirit and steadfast love on May 5, 1936. Mary's journey began in faith as she confessed her love for Christ at an early age. Her life's greatest joy was the union she shared with her soulmate, Willie Lee Miller, Sr., as they were joined in Holy Matrimony on August 25, 1957. Together, they cultivated a profound and sacred love over their more than 60 years of marriage, nurturing a family that blossomed into eight children, five sons and three daughters. Our mother, our matriarch, our backbone....the one that held our family together...Mary Prince "Nana" was a terrific mother, a true role model who we will always remember and look up to. She faced every challenge with courage and was a woman of grace and dignity. She loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her family beyond measures. Her love was a constant and unwavering force. She not only taught us right from wrong, but she was also our guiding light through dark moments. Her journey has just begun and her light shines in all of us. Her love will forever live in our hearts. Nana you were loved so much. Mary Miller, a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, peacefully departed this walk of life on Saturday, December 13, 2025 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her beloved family. She was welcomed home by her husband, Willie Lee Miller, Sr., two sons, Willie Anthony "Tony" Miller and Herbert Earl "Frog" Miller, three brothers, Ben moss, Jr., Robert Moss, and L.J. Moss, and two sisters, Elouise Moss and Amy Lowery. Mary leaves behind a legacy woven from threads of kindness, strength, and compassion. Mary Prince leaves behind a tapestry of memories woven with love to forever be cherished by her three sons, Willie Lee "Tracy" Miller, Jr. (Tawanda), Steven Miller (Gail), and Norman Miller; three daughters, Jacqueline Annette Tatum (Michael), Regina Lynn Peters (Michael), and Marcia Yvette Wood (Jimmy); one sister, Ivalene Glass; three sisters-in-law, Betty Miller, Johnnie Mae Miller, and Alva Lee Chatman; grandchildren, Shaun Miller (Jamie), Sharonda Berry (Michael), Marcus Mosley (Alicia), Corderell Miller, Steven Antonio Miller, Shavon Cunningham (Cartravious Collins), Justin Boozer, Jimmy Frank Wood, Jr., Trayon Miller, Quinderis Wood (Ashley), Porsha Swain (Camron), Kayla Montgomery, Kalon Maffett, Marticia Jackson, Demonza Miller, Nicolette Forman (Axel), Kaitlyn Miller, Nolan Miller, Shania Miller, Abigail Miller, Allen Tatum (Jalainna), Breanna Davis, Peter Dawkins, and Tristan Turner; great-grandchildren, Ashauria Miller, Sekuria Miller, Sekiyah Jackson, Marcus, Jr., Kyrin, Kaiden Swain, Kason Patton, Cartravious Collins, Jr., Cali Swain, Cashton Swain, Jett Heard, Jayveon Heard, Chelsea Wood, Kylan Satcher, Jaxon Wood, Zarriah Tumbling, Kerrington Wood, Oakley Wood, Ma'Khai Miller, Kamari Miller, A'myah Berry, Ma'Kaela Berry, Lashonda Berry, Giuna Mosley, Meigha Miller, Kisyn Patrick, Alex Tatum, Asher Tatum, Jordan Boozer, Zoelyn Boozer, Zarko Boozer, Makai Boozer, Kasyn Patrick, Qua'mir Woodruff, and Brinleigh Davis.
