LaRonda Pyles

Mrs. LaRonda J. Pyles, a shining light born on February 16, 1970, in Galveston, Texas, was the beautiful daughter of the late Leroy and Mary McGee. LaRonda was a proud graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School, where she achieved cum laude honors in 1988-a testament to her intelligence and dedication. After high school, she served honorably in the United States Army from 1988 to 1992. While stationed in Germany in 1991, she met her beloved husband, Henry Pyles, Sr. Their love blossomed, and they were united in holy matrimony in November 1993 in Texas, and lived a life filled with adventures and memories. They shared their love with two wonderful sons whom she loved and adored beyond measure. LaRonda had a passion for trying new foods, exploring different cuisines, and sharing delightful meals with family and friends. Her love for travel took her around the world. LaRonda was also an avid reader, always eager to learn and grow. Her thirst for knowledge led her to earn a Bachelor's and a Master's degree, and to pursue a Doctorate degree, inspiring those around her with her commitment to lifelong learning. In 1996, during her time in Fort Benning, GA, LaRonda deepened her faith, opening her heart and giving her life to the Lord, which would become a central part of her existence. Upon moving to Anniston, she attended Word Alive where her faith continued to flourish. On July 21, 2025, LaRonda Pyles completed her earthly journey and entered eternal rest. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Mary McGee, grandparents, Arthur and Lorena Mitchell, and aunt, Myrtle Tamplin. LaRonda's legacy of love will forever be etched in the hearts of her husband, Henry Pyles, Sr.; sons, Jeremy D. Pyles and Henry L. (Kayleigh) Pyles, Jr.; grandchildren, Amir D. Pyles, Carmen E. Pyles, and Sage I. Pyles; brothers, Joseph L. (Shelia) McGee and Christopher McGee; sisters, Latasha (Julice) Watson, Aqua M. McGee, Lori A. McGee, and Tiwanna G. Wilson; nieces, Chantene N. McDonald, Sabrina M. McGee, and Selina Mcgee; stepmother, Peggy McGee; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. As we come together to remember LaRonda, let us carry forward her spirit-her love for good food, her adventurous nature, and her unwavering faith. May she rest in eternal peace, and may we find comfort in the beautiful memories she has gifted us.
