Lakeisa Smith

Lakeisa Sheri Turner Smith was born on October 8, 1979 to Debra Turner Norfleet and Jarvis L. Gill at RMC in Anniston, Alabama. She was blessed in having Jonathan Norfleet as her daddy, who loved her as his own, since the tender age of eleven months. At an early age, Keisa accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized in Anniston, AL at Murray Temple C.M.E. under the leadership of Rev. Jermaine Marshall, whom she loved dearly. She served faithfully by joining the choir, usher board, kitchen committee and contributed to community service. Keisa received her diploma from North Clayton High School in College Park, Georgia. Shortly after graduating, she relocated back to Anniston, AL where she received an Associate's Degree in Aesthetics from Ayers State Technical College. Later she earned a Degree from Phoenix College in Medical Billing and Coding. Keisa met Mario Nie Smith and soon married after a short engagement on July 31, 2009. In seeking better job opportunities and to be closer to her family, they relocated to Mobile, AL. While hoping for her own children one day, she loved the children God placed in her life: Stepson JaQuay Judkins and nieces and nephews, Tristen, Jasmin, JaMarcus, Jameria, Milan, Devonte, Maryanna, Kyree, Xavier and Leah. Keisa was a very smart, enthusiastic, energetic and fun-loving person with an infectious laugh and sweet spirit. She was definitely a people person who met no strangers. She knew what she wanted out of life and went for it. The word "No" was not in her vocabulary, Keisa was very optimistic and unafraid of any challenge. She genuinely cared for other people, always greeting you with a vibrant smile. Being full of life and grateful for every moment. Keisa leaves behind a legacy of love and memories to forever be cherished by her husband: Mario Smith, loving parents: Jonathan and Debra Norfleet and Jarvis Gill, stepson: JaQuay Judkins, brother Marcus Turner, sister: Jennifer Norfleet, her loving grandmothers: Burnese Turner and Mary English, Mother-in-law: Brenda Smith, nieces and nephews, sister in laws and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
