Daqieva Davis, a cherished daughter, devoted mother, and beloved friend was born on January 10, 1980 in Lansing, Michigan, to parents Bobby Johnson and Drucilla Johnson. Daqieva accepted Christ at a young age and united with Mt. Cleveland Missionary Baptist Church. Her formal education was received in the Talladega County School System where she was a graduate of Talladega County Central High School. Daqieva had a compassionate spirit that led her to pursue a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the healthcare industry. She dedicated herself to caring for others, providing comfort and support during their times of need. Her passion for helping others made a lasting impact on the lives she touched. Daqieva's infectious laughter and vibrant personality were forces that brightened any room she entered. She had a deep love for life, always finding joy in the simplest of moments. Whether she was dancing, singing, or creating TikTok videos with her cherished daughter, Dustani Davis, Daqieva's love for adventure and merriment was evident to all who knew her. Daqieva Davis passed away on November 11, 2023, at the age of 43. Her sudden departure has left a void in our hearts that will never be filled. While we mourn her loss, we find solace in knowing that Daqieva is now reunited with her departed loved ones, her parents, Drucilla Johnson and Bobby Johnson, as well as her son, DaQuan Davis, great-great grandmother, Essie Cross, great-grand father, Young Davis, Jr., great-grandmother, Hattie Mae Robinson-Davis, grandmother, Mary Young, grandfather, Charlie Houston, great-uncles, Carl Davis and Lloyd Davis, and great-aunt, Emma Davis who will surely embrace her with open arms in the heavenly realm. Daqieva leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories for her adoring daughter, Dustani Davis, who was the light of her life; brother, Tucker Johnson; grandfather, Robin Smith; uncle, George (Erica) Davis; great-aunt, Shirley Turner; Dwan Armbrester, the father of her children; Nakeita Stockdale, her best friend, who stood by Daqieva's side through the highs and lows, offering unwavering support and friendship; her extended Wells family; and a host of other relatives and friends. In this time of profound grief, may we remember Daqieva for the joy she brought into our lives, the compassion she extended to others, and the love she shared with her daughter and those closest to her. May her radiant spirit guide us through the dark days ahead, reminding us to live each day to its fullest, just as she did. Rest in eternal peace, dearest Daqieva. You will forever be remembered, forever cherished, and forever missed.
